AquaMaster PRO water softeners are certified by WQA (Water Quality Association) to the CSA (Canadian Standard Association) standard B483.1 for drinking water systems. The CSA B483.1 standard is primarily a structural integrity and safety standard. Complying to this standard gives you the confidence that the product has been designed and manufactured to meet safety standards in your home. It has been made mandatory in Quebec since 2011 and in Ontario since January 2014. AquaMaster PRO complies to this standard as well, compliance has been verified by WQA and is confirmed by the Gold Seal applied here.

AquaMaster PRO water softeners are certified by NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) to the ANSI standard 44 for cation exchange water softeners. The minimum for NSF is to remove 3,350 grains of hardness minerals per pound of salt. AquaMaster PRO well exceeds the minimum standard removing 5,500 grains per pound of salt. That means AquaMaster PRO uses 40% less salt than the minimum required to be NSF certified. Certification well deserved!
